Varsity Depth Athlete | 2:20 → 2:12 800m is a plan made for HS Boys primarily focusing on the 800m. The goal is to take a runner that has run around 2:20 to prepare them to run 2:12 and beyond. The plan is 4 weeks and is ideally used for a runner building into a track season. The plan is made for beginner/intermediate runners that want to run 6 times a week and around 30-40 miles per week in volume.

Training Run Pace: 7:00-8:30. (Able to have a conversation with someone)
Recovery Runs: 7:15-9:00.
Strides: Should be 100m with efforts around a 7 or 8 out of 10. Pretty comfortable but feeling like the legs are warmed up by the end of them.
