Plan Description
Crafted by 3:53 miler and HAX Coach Austen Dalquist, this plan is for middle distance athletes during their competitive racing season. Athletes starting the plan should have previous racing experience in the 800-1600m distances and a solid base of aerobic training under their belts. The purpose of this plan is to sharpen the foundation of threshold, long runs, and mileage done during the pre-competition phase of the season. Workouts will focus on speed and power development, dialing in race pace, and practicing gear shifts at faster paces - all while maintaining aerobic strength through continued threshold work.
