Christmas Running-Focused Hybrid Week

This WCSE TRAINING Christmas Week is designed for athletes who want to prioritize running performance during the holiday period, while maintaining the strength and hybrid qualities needed for HYROX or functional racing.
The structure is simple and intentional: 6 training days, with three key running sessions supported by low-fatigue hybrid work so that every session contributes to better running.

Runners and hybrid athletes who want to keep improving their running
HYROX athletes in an off-season or base-building phase
Athletes with limited time who still want structured, purposeful training
Best suited for intermediate-level athletes with a solid running base.
Weekly Structure (6 Days)
2 quality running sessions: Threshold, intervals, or controlled intensity
1 aerobic endurance run
Easy / Zone 2 focus
Hybrid strength & functional sessions
1 rest day
Volume and intensity are adjusted to fit the Christmas period.
