Build a strong, reliable running foundation with Boundless Coaching’s Base-Building Running Program—designed for athletes returning from injury, gearing up for an ultra build, or maintaining fitness during the offseason. This program focuses exclusively on running, using a balanced mix of easy aerobic mileage, controlled fartlek sessions, and low-stress tempo work to safely reintroduce rhythm and speed. Guided by Heart Rate (% of Threshold), Training Stress Score (TSS), and Chronic Training Load (CTL), the plan emphasizes steady aerobic development and smart progression without unnecessary intensity. You’ll rebuild confidence and efficiency through purposeful workouts that elevate your aerobic capacity, strengthen your stride, and prepare you for the demands of a bigger block ahead.
