Plan Description

Run Preparation Plan 5 is designed for advanced level runners who are currently running a lower volume or who are looking for an extended training program. This plan begins with a run volume of 9 miles in Week 1 and builds over 4 weeks to 13.5 miles in Week 4.

Note: This program is written based on miles. Total workout miles includes the warm-up, main set and cool down. Estimated durations are also provided for each workout as a general guidance, and are based on a 9 minute per mile pace plus the warm-up and cool down time.
