If your goal is to develop the speed component of your running fitness quickly and safely, this is your training plan. The 7-week Level 1 80/20 Run Faster plan will boost your sustainable speed without overtaxing you or neglecting other fitness components. Featuring the proven 80/20 intensity balance described in Matt Fitzgerald's bestselling book 80/20 Running.
This level is intended for runners with some experience who are ready to benefit from doing more speed-focused training than they have in the past. You should be comfortable running daily for up to 40 minutes before you start the plan.
INTENSITY TYPE : HEART RATE
This plan presents each workouts intensity target by Heart Rate, but Pace and Power versions of this plan are also available.
