Plan Description
This plan builds very slowly, from no running to 30 mile weeks with an 8 mile long run, so you'll be ready to start one of the big mountain or Grand Canyon training plans! Taking precautions for injury prevention, building balanced front/back body and side/side strength, mobility, and building mileage in a healthy way is at least as important when you're first starting out as it is when you're preparing for something big! This is a 20 week plan that builds very slowly for new runners with big dreams, ending in a recovery week so you can roll right into one of the bigger training plans.
