Plan Description
Plan Goal: Peak marathon performance with high-quality Z3/Z4 density, race-specific long runs (some with decisive fast finishes), and precision deloads—maximising durability without overreach.
Perfect For
✅ Experienced athletes targeting a meaningful PR or championship standard.
✅ Comfortable with 5 sessions/week (admin/strides weekly), smart flexing when life metrics dip.
✅ Willing to practice full fueling & kit on key long runs.
Recommended Add-Ons
✅ Strength 2×/wk (force + stiffness); light plyometrics if already adapted.
✅ Long-run dress rehearsals: 60–75+ g carbs/hr, bottle hand-offs, race shoes/socks.
✅ Terrain specificity (rolling/urban routes) and one or two fast-finish long runs in peak phase.
When to Use It
Main marathon peak block leading into an A-race. Advanced pack we built includes fast finishes on W10, W13, W15, W17, with a tidy taper in W19–20.
