It is possible to run a marathon with 12 weeks of preparation, especially if you already have a decent running base and have completed a half marathon
Key Considerations
1. Current Fitness Level: If you’ve been running consistently (even shorter distances), you’ll have a good foundation. If not, you may need to ease into training more cautiously.
2. Injury Risk: Building mileage too quickly increases the risk of injury. A gradual progression is essential.
3. Time Commitment: You’ll need to dedicate 4–5 days a week to training, with one being a long run day.
