Plan Description

Welcome to Bad Apples Coaching's 22 week Marathon plan.
This plan was first built for one of our athletes who had just completed a busy year of Marathon and Ironman training and wanted to improve his marathon time. We spent a lot of time looking at what he wanted and how he wanted to train and by the end the plan you see before you is what we had.
This plan is great for someone who is an already strong runner and wants to focus on getting that next step in their training. It is split into two parts a base & then a specific marathon block with a focus on speed.
This is not a plan for someones first marathon and I'd suggest works best for athletes that are really self aware and can recognise that they are overdoing it and are comfortable in reacting positively to their needs.
