You got yourself talked into a marathon and your only concern is to not get injured. You're a procrastinator and the lazy kind of athlete... then this program is for you!
You should be able to run 5k easily and free of injury before starting this program.
Be aware of small musculoskeletal issues or injuries before they get bigger.
If you play any other sport like tennis, badminton, squash, padel, ...... ( activities that trigger running like movements and positions) you can skip one SHORT training every week.
All the training sessions are at an easy pace since finishing this marathon is more important to you than the finishing pace and time.
Think about your weight or BMI before planning an event like this...
