Marathon training program Week 16. Example week for Chicago Marathon.

Sample Day 1

(2x) 200 meters at 5k pace
(4x) 400 meters at Mile pace
(2x) 200 meters at 5k pace
(4x) 400 meters at Mile pace

60-second recovery between each 200-meter interval, 2-minute recovery between each 400-meter interval.

Sample Day 3

SC-1: Anatomical Adaptation (AA), 3 sets

Warm up for 10 minutes. Then, 3 sets of A.A. Weights. 20 reps on each exercise with 45 seconds rest between each exercise. Perfect form! Low weight, high reps. 10 minutes cool down.
