Plan Description

The FTK Half Marathon Performance System is designed to build endurance with structure, discipline, and purpose.

This 12-week progression begins with individualized threshold testing to ensure your training zones reflect your physiology. From there, the plan develops aerobic capacity, raises lactate threshold, and builds long-run durability through progressive, zone-based sessions.

Most miles are intentional and controlled. Threshold sessions are structured. Long runs are purposeful. Every phase builds toward race-day execution.

This is more than a template — it is a framework to help you understand how to train, not just what to run.
