Plan Description

8-week beginner's training plan for a half-marathon( 21.1km) run. This plan is aimed to get you ready to finish a 21.1km run. It is a stand-alone plan with no communication with a coach.

Walking for parts of training and the 1/2 marathon are part of the plan. You may need to run/walk the event, not just the training, regardless of how you train for it, that is not unusual for beginners. I suggest everyone walk through the aid stations at the very least.

A waterproof watch with a stopwatch function is useful for all workouts.

Run Gear - shoes, sunglasses, hat(?), clothes, socks(?).
