Plan Description

This training plan is great for the runner that's been training for a bit! You've done several 5ks and 10ks, and a couple of half marathons, but you want to step up your game and run for a PR! You might also be very well versed in 5k and 10ks and have been running a long time, but are wanting to jump up to the half marathon level! I recommend having a GPS watch with heart rate to get the most out of this training plan!

The plan is broken into 4 blocks of 3 weeks - 2 weeks of building, and 1 week of recovery. Each week has a rest day (some more than one), a day of intensity, a day of active recovery, a long run and a couple of aerobic / base building runs.
