Plan Description

This plan has been created by a Sports physiotherapist who treats runners. Taking into account loading progressions, gradual build.

Running plan:

1/2 marathon training plan for intermediate runners.
Those that have a running history and not new to running.
This plan focuses on training heart rate so it can be used for each individual. Then transitioning to pace training.
Runners will complete at 1.6km time trial to allow the data to be used for this plan.

12 week training plan including:

Short intervals
Long intervals
Long run
Recovery run

Plan assumes 2 x strength training sessions throughout the week.

Plan starts with HR training, then builds into training via pace following the 1.6km time trial results.
