This 16-week 5K Beginner Maintenance plan by GA Endurance is designed for new and returning runners who want to preserve their current running fitness, consistency, and speed without preparing for a specific race.
It is best suited to athletes who can walk briskly for 30 minutes and complete short run/walk intervals and can train consistently 3–4 days per week. Each session includes a defined purpose and practical intensity guidance.
What You Can Expect

Requirements

- Willingness to keep Easy sessions controlled and complete quality sessions with sound pacing
- A GPS running watch and heart-rate monitor are recommended for more precise execution
