Class to 5K: The Family Running Programme

A simple, structured 10-week programme designed to be used alongside your child’s school Class to 2K / 5K challenge.

This plan allows you to take part as a parent, supporting your child while improving your own fitness - and completing the journey together.

This programme is not a standalone running plan. It is specifically designed to run in tandem with your child’s school sessions.

Each week:

- Your child completes one session in school
- You follow a guided parent session (same day)
- You complete two additional sessions together as a family

Everything is clearly laid out inside TrainingPeaks so you always know exactly what to do.

Complete beginners or those returning to exercise

No running experience needed.
