Plan Description

The training schedule is intended for runners starting from 0 and aiming to build up to a 5k run.

To do this responsibly and effectively, the training schedule spans 12 weeks. There are two periods of 6 weeks each, with a rest week at the end of each period.

To follow this training schedule, you'll need a heart rate monitor (ideally a chest strap).

The training schedule serves as the foundation for starting to engage in sports/running. After completing the 5k and the training schedule, you can set new goals.
