The Aloha Tri Coaching Couch to 5k (C25k) Walking and Running Plan for Beginner's is a gradual and structured program designed to help individuals with little or no running experience gradually build up their endurance and fitness level to complete a 5-kilometer (3.1-mile) run. The plan spans over a period of 6 weeks, providing walk/run and strength workouts weekly. It begins with intervals of alternating walking and running, gradually increasing the running intervals and reducing the walking periods as the program progresses. This approach allows participants to gradually adapt to the physical demands of running while minimizing the risk of injury and building stamina. By the end of the program, beginners should be able to comfortably run a 5k distance.
