A 10-week 5K plan for beginners who are ready to build a regular running habit and complete their first event.
This plan suits you if you can already manage short runs, but want a clearer structure to take you through to a 5K. Sessions gradually develop your aerobic fitness, running confidence and ability to stay relaxed as the distance builds.
You will train with purpose but without unnecessary complication. The work is progressive, recovery is part of the programme, and the final weeks give you the confidence to line up knowing you have done the right preparation.
Written in the way we coach at TCC Endurance: practical, progressive and built around training that fits real life.
