Worum geht's?
10K SPEED BOOSTER – Advanced, 12 Wochen.
Was dich erwartet
Alles an deiner Schwelle (LT2) verankert.
Deine Woche
Dienstag: locker + Mobility/Lauf-ABC. Mittwoch: Intervalle (Key-Session). Donnerstag: locker. Samstag: Hügel-Sprints (zweite harte Einheit). Sonntag: Long Run (immer locker).

ENGLISH
What's the plan?
10K SPEED BOOSTER – Advanced, 12 weeks. For experienced runners who train 4–5 times per week and are targeting a fast 10K.
Who is it for?
You have a solid base and want to build pace resilience, VO₂max and race pace on purpose. Don't start injured. Combines perfectly with strength training.
What to expect
Three 4-week blocks plus taper, built short-to-long: speed & VO₂max first (200/400/800 m), then threshold (500–1000 m), then race pace (1000–2000 m). VO₂max stays present all plan long – later as a primer before the threshold work. Everything anchored to your threshold (LT2).
Your week
Tuesday: easy + mobility/run ABC. Wednesday: intervals (key session). Thursday: easy. Saturday: hill reps (second hard session). Sunday: long run (always easy).
Wednesday is the most important session. Saturday is the second quality piece – if your legs are tired, run it easy instead of hard. That's the smart call, not a step back.
Adapt the plan to life
Sessions can be shifted. Keep the order easy → hard: an easy run the day before a key session primes the legs. If you have to cut back: protect Wednesday, soften Saturday first. Sunday always stays easy.
Start
Activate the plan exactly 12 weeks before your goal race.
