GA Endurance designed this 24-week 10K Beginner plan for runners who want a structured, progressive, and realistic preparation for a 10K race.


This plan is ideal for athletes who already have basic running experience, can run short distances comfortably at an Easy effort, and are ready to train consistently several days per week.


If you want to build race readiness, improve aerobic endurance, develop controlled speed, and approach your 10K with better pacing confidence, this plan gives you a clear roadmap for your available preparation time.

Requirements


Before starting this 24-week plan, you should be able to:


• Run short distances continuously at a comfortable Easy effort.

• Train consistently several days per week.

• Follow Easy runs, longer aerobic runs, and structured workouts introduced at a manageable level.

• Manage normal training fatigue while maintaining good movement quality and recovery habits.


A GPS running watch and heart-rate monitor are recommended to help you follow session intensity, monitor progress, and train with greater precision.
