Plan Description

Hyrox is right around the corner. Whether it's your first Hyrox event, or you're looking to improve your running, this plan is designed to provide structure and support with your weekly training.

If you're new to Hyrox, the majority of the event is running. 8x 1km loops with stations to complete in between each 1km interval. This is an event that tests both your endurance and physical capacity to continue to work, for most people it's 60-80mins+.

What to expect in this plan;
A variety of training such as; easy runs, long runs, tempo runs, interval runs.

3x Fitness tests through the training plan. To provide progression feedback and update data for future workouts.

Progressive overload through the training plan. We have 4x main phases being, Engine / Capacity / Threshold / Taper

There will be 3-4x runs programmed in each week, this isn't a strict plan where you need to follow it on each programmed day. Make it work best to your schedule that compliments your current training.

The data we collect from our testing allows us to personalise the plan to your ability. Although many people can follow this same plan, the paces or heart rate zones you find as your targets will be specific to you.

The intention of each session will be described for your in the coaches notes section, giving you a chance to understand why are are doing what we are doing.
