Plan Description

This Beginner 10K Plan is aimed at people training for their first 10K, or those returning to running after an extended break. You should be able to run for 30 minutes before beginning this training plan.

Each week the plan includes three runs and two strength sessions to help you build strength in key areas and stay injury free. The strength sessions use bodyweight exercises that don't require any equipment and can be completed at home.

This plan uses heart rate to measure intensity. Instructions for how to set up your training zones are included.
