Designed to complement Matt Fitzgerald's groundbreaking book On Pace: Discover How to Run Every Race at Your Real Limit, this On Pace 10K Level 1 training plan will simultaneously improve your pacing prowess and your fitness level.
This plan is appropriate for newer runners preparing for their first 10K event, Masters athletes, or for more experienced runners who need or prefer a relatively low-volume training program. Before you begin the plan, build your training to the point where you are running at least three times per week for up to 30 minutes or more.
INTENSITY TYPE : PERCEIVED EFFORT
This plan presents each workouts intensity target by RPE, but Pace, Power, and HR versions of this plan are also available.
