This plan will target your running technique while working on your 10K distance fitness. Designed for beginner to intermediate level runners, this plan balances mileage with running technique sessions, transforming you into a better distance runner.


IS THIS PLAN FOR YOU?


This plan is designed for beginner to intermediate runners who are about to start training for their first 10K race or have already completed one but want to run a faster 10K time and improve foundational running skills.


WHAT’S IN THE PLAN?



  • Structured running workouts. All workouts are made with TrainingPeaks workout builder. It’s easy to understand the structure of each running session. You can even upload a workout to your GPS device and follow the session in real time.

  • Weekly running drills. Starting from activation drills in the initial weeks of the plan progressing to more challenging drills in the later weeks.

  • Running technique tips. For every running session.

  • Nutrition tips around key training sessions, explaining how to recover faster, hydrate and fuel during sessions.

  • One-to-two high-intensity sessions per week. These sessions will challenge your cardiovascular fitness, improve your running economy and serve as mental preparation to deal with higher intensity running come race day.
