28-Day Bodyweight Strength Challenge
Build total-body muscular endurance and training consistency through a demanding four-week bodyweight program.
This is a high-frequency challenge for intermediate athletes. It schedules six approximately 60-minute strength sessions each week with one rest day. It is not a casual add-on to a high-volume cycling block. If you pair it with endurance training, reduce your other workload so you can recover.
Who This Plan Is For
- Intermediate athletes with prior bodyweight training experience
- Cyclists using a lower-volume or off-season riding schedule
- Athletes who want a structured, equipment-light challenge
- People able to recover from six strength sessions per week
What You Will Develop
- Total-body muscular endurance
- Trunk strength and stability
- Push, pull, squat, lunge, and hinge capacity
- Consistency under a short, concentrated training load
Equipment
- Exercise shoes
- Stopwatch or timer
- Towel, water bottle, and exercise mat
- Pull-up or chin-up bar strongly recommended
- A stable support for approved row or dip variations when required
Follow the prescribed repetitions and rest periods, scale movements when needed, and stop any exercise that cannot be performed with sound technique.
Serious goals. Real lives. Structured training that respects both.
KyleCoaching helps masters and time-constrained cyclists build endurance, raise FTP, develop race-specific power, and stay durable without treating recovery, work, and family as rounding errors.
