IS THIS PLAN FOR ME?
It is if you have issues BREATHING IN SWIMMING!! We have built this specifically to step through the reasons you struggle, and then give you drills and sets to make changes so that you can enjoy your time in the pool. Let's move you beyond breathing so that you can get to the other improvements you want to make!
I'M NOT A GREAT SWIMMER. ARE THERE ANY PRE-REQUISITES FOR THIS PLAN?
Perfect! This was set up with you in mind.
*Minimums: This plan will work best for people who can at least swim around 500 yards total, and you can adjust the yards or distances if you can't finish every set. The main thing is to work on the skill for a sufficient amount of time so that you practice it.
*Maximums: If you're a swimmer who can do way more than 500 yards total, this plan can be used at the beginning of your longer planned swims, since most day's swims add up to around 1200-1500 yards.
WHAT DETAILS DO I NEED TO KNOW?
Location: This plan is set up for a 25 yard/meter pool, but could of course be swum in a longer/shorter pool if you need to adjust.
Completion: The swims are set up on M-W-F but of course you can do them any day you wish!
Equipment: You will need a pull buoy and a kickboard, and a set of short fins. Check the "Note" on the first day for recommendations on these items.
Notations: The plan uses standard swim lingo to give rest intervals, so for example, 3 x 25 r: 15 means swim 3 x 25 yards with 15 seconds rest between each.
