Dreaming of standing atop Mt. Fuji but unsure where to start? This 8-week beginner-friendly plan is designed to take you from the couch to confidently summiting Japan’s highest peak.

Hikers aiming for a steady, structured approach to Mt. Fuji

Anyone looking to build endurance, strength, and confidence for big climbs with limited time and experience.

What to Expect
This progressive plan focuses on hiking endurance, leg strength, and elevation gain while gradually increasing volume to prepare you for the physical and mental demands of summiting.

Three cardio workouts focused on higher intensity, steady pace, and long effort to get your body ready to climb without already having a big base to start.

Upper and lower body strength sessions to get your body resilient and help you climb with a heavy pack and resist upper body fatigue when using poles.

By the end of 8 weeks, you'll be better prepared to safely and successfully summit Mt. Fuji. It will still be difficult, but you will be able to enjoy your climb much more than if you went into it with no structured training plan at all.
