Plan Description
This program is designed for someone is who is preparing for a 1-2 day non technical mountaineering endeavor. An example could be Mount Whitney, Mount Shasta, or Mount St. Helens. You will need access to a gym as you will be using, barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, pull up bars, bands, and other floor based movements. The other days are going to be running outside, or on a treadmill. There is 4 days of endurance training that consists of zone two aerobic, interval training, hill sprints, and weighted hikes. These can all be done outside or in the gym using treadmills, or stair steppers. The program is much more efficient if you have a watch such as a Garmin or a Coros. You should have some experience in weight lifting, and running.
