Plan Description

This bike, swim and core strength training plan is great for strong beginners or intermediate fitness levels wanting to improve their fitness in all three areas. Or maybe you are a runner that needs a break from running, for whatever reason, and would like to cross-train into other sports.

This is not a race plan and it is best for base training phases. The plan peaks at 5 hours and includes a deload week at the end. The plan is repeatable too. I suggest doing a threshold test at the end, update your zones, and plug it into your calendar for another round.

Each week the intensity increases for the swim, bike and core strength workouts so you can build upon your fitness. Even though there is a large variety of structured training sessions in this plan,

I am to keep them simple enough to follow and understand. Each session has a goal. Your fitness will rise at the end of each week if you follow through and stay consistent

The core strength workouts have links to my videos where I guide the athlete through a routine, from start to finish, instructing good lifting form.
