A straightforward 8-week plan to prepare for your first sprint duathlon.
This programme is for athletes who want to build confidence across the first run, bike and second run without overcomplicating training. The sessions gradually develop running endurance, bike fitness and the ability to settle into the second run when your legs are already working.
You will also practise the practical side of duathlon: pacing the first run, managing transitions and riding in a way that leaves something for the final leg.
Written in the way we coach at TCC Endurance: practical, progressive and built around consistent training.
