Plan Description

Welcome to your 8 Week Aquathlon plan with DRYLAND options

This plan is based around a long course Aquathlon of 900m swim and 7km run. You can modify this by 20-50% for shorter courses. For example 400m and 5km run.

This is ideal for open water based events but can also be used for pool based events.

The plan includes:
- Run sessions based on heart rate
- Swimming session with drill & technique videos and HR targets
- Dryland swimming options if you can´t get to a pool
- Strength training to help avoid injuries
- Cross training
- Session plans and videos
- Training and racing tips
- Email access to coach

You should consult your doctor before embarking on any physical fitness training. For any of the sessions, especially the strength and conditioning sessions, if you are unsure of the exercises then seek the help and advice of a professional near you.

My name is Karen and I live in the mountains of Southern Spain where I coach and run Triathlon training camps all year round (ChiliTri).
