Type: Power-based, mixed with heart rate and RPE.
This reusable 6-week Beginner Base "Re-Builder" training plan aims to restore your foundation, training consistency, and prepare your body for higher-intensity work, while dedicating additional time to essential skill-development sessions for beginners.
Fitness Level: Beginner who has already establish a solid base, but taken 2-4 weeks off from training.
Start: 4 months before your first A-priority race.
*If your race or event is less than 10 weeks away, or if you’ve had more than 4 weeks completely off training, an individualised plan is recommended.

The Plan Layout
Two training blocks → each block includes two weeks of structured workouts, followed by a recovery week.
Workouts are scheduled in a specific order to match expected fatigue, and allow for adequate recovery times based on workout intensity. The plan also includes nutrition, strength, and flexibility guidance to support training quality.
Week 1 includes a Functional Threshold Power (FTP) test to ensure you’re training at the level that’s right for you.
