Plan Description

Rest, Attend Boot Camp, Come Out Strong!




This plan is designed for the cyclist looking for a quick 'tune up' to get themselves up to a new speed or out of a training rut. The plan is short, but can be repeated periodically to sharpen your sword. Weekend rides/workouts are ideal for road bike or gravel bike training.




This is a 3 week plan. PLUS 2 BONUS WEEKS OF WORKOUTS. Yes it is short, but effective. The ideal scenario is is that you have trained hard for 3 or 4 weeks. Then we take a rest week, then Boot Camp starts. You will be fresh and be able to handle the workouts. You will benefit from this short period of effective workouts that cover a wide range of abilities to relight the fire in the legs. This has been used many times when I had an athlete come to me, stuck in a training rut, not knowing how to get out. Rest, do something completely different on the bike, come out strong.
