Plan Description
Fast cars have big engines. This training plan will help you build your engine. It includes the Base 2 & 3 phases of training. This means pushing the overall training volume to it's max while starting to include workouts that focus on the threshold training zone. The goal at the end of this block is that you will have raised your FTP and increased your time to exhaustion at this intensity.
This plan is for the time-crunched athlete. However, if you look at the weekly volume you'll notice it often goes over 8 hours. That is because I have added a lot of options within the training. If you do the minimum it will be 8 hours, but if your schedule allows your to add in some time here and there then you'll get more than 8 hours. With volume being a big focus during this training phase I'd encourage your to up the volume as much as your life would allow.
