Plan Description

This plan is built with the beginner cyclist in mind. Your workouts are set up to provide foundation training to build your aerobic engine, technique, and muscle recruitment so you can feel prepared and ready for those first group rides, your inaugural event, or your first 50-mile or 100km adventure.

Off-bike strength sessions are included to support in building your chassis and movement patterns that will complement cycling progress.

Over these 12 weeks you will be able to rearrange workouts to suit your needs, with the goal of achieving certain weekly outcomes and reflecting on your progress.

This plan includes power-based workouts, with specific sessions that can be exported to your favorite device or app, but a heart rate monitor is also recommended to monitor your progress and assist with pacing.
