Plan Description

This is a 12 week road cycling program for the beginner to intermediate athlete who is looking to do his/her first 90Km cycling (road) race. The program is set over 12 weeks with weeks 1 to 12 as the base and build weeks. This plan is designed to push muscle endurance and allow for effective recovery whilst maintaining a gradual yet solid foundational build week on week.

A diverse array of bike workouts are included to complement High Intensity over specific parts of the periodisation.

The athlete must be able to do the following COMFORTABLY before starting this program:

- Cycle 1.5hrs
