Plan Description
This 12-week plan is designed as an all-rounder, aimed at improving all facets of your cycling - aerobic efficiency, fatigue resistance, short hard bursts, and long sustained efforts. If you've already achieved a good general fitness level and you're looking to progress with a structured plan, this is ideal. Likewise if you've done a lot of cycling previously, but you've had some time off and want to regain a good general level of performance, this plan works well. You could even use it as a springboard into a more specialised type of bike training (Eg HIIT short intervals...sustainable power for TTs etc).
The plan is based on training with power, and automatically adjusts sessions to each rider's Functional Threshold Power (FTP). It uses established training zones from Training Peaks and prescribes the sessions accordingly.
