Plan Description

The goal of this is plan to provide a foundation of fitness for the New Year. Unlike traditional base training (which is focused on a lot time in the endurance zone), this plan maximizes training time with a mix of Tempo, Sweet Spot, and some Threshold workouts. This plan provides a solid foundation of fitness for whatever your specific goals are later in the season.

This plan is power-based, you will need a power meter and/or smart trainer for best results.

If you use Zwift for your indoor training, your workouts will automatically be loaded into the app based on this plan. If you begin this plan on 11 January 2021, you have an option of doing the Wednesday rides as a group workout at 7:20PM EST at the Hincapie Sportswear Power Hour!

There are three variations of this plan:
C Plan (Beginner) - 6-8hrs and 300-415 TSS per week
B Plan (Intermediate) - 7-9hrs and 330-450 TSS per week
A Plan (Advanced) - 8-10+hrs and 400-550 TSS per week
