Plan Description

The Power Lab is designed to prepare athletes to participate in the various events and races during the outdoor season, with an emphasis on intensity at threshold and VO2 Max, while not losing sight of aerobic endurance and muscular force. This will often translate into workouts that combine multiple abilities into single sessions, so that the athlete is prepared for the many demands of these events, including terrain changes, windy conditions, surges, accelerations, and more. Athletes training indoors exclusively during this period would also benefit from the skills provided in this Lab.
