The Plan:
The following 7-week plan has been designed specifically for novice riders. The plan focuses on preparing you for time trials. The plan is suitable for time trials with a distance of 25 miles (40 km) or less.
Novice Riders:
- 04:34 hours progressing to 05:48 hours (max week)
- 4 bike workouts per week.
- Suitable for master athletes (35 + years of age).
- 1-2 home strength workouts per week.
- Short mid-week workouts to accommodate work.
- Plan uses heart rate.
