This plan is for intermediate to advanced cyclists with around 15 available hours per week to train. The goal of this plan is to get you road race ready.
During the Build and Peak phase, the focus shifts to building cycling specific power from the aerobic fittness and strength you've build during the base training phase. Only use this plan if you completed a base training phase already.
Start this plan around 12 weeks before your target event.
A powermeter is recommended, but a heartrate monitor is sufficient.
The only gym equipment needed for the strength sessions are a barbell with weights and dumbells.
I help cyclists get faster on flat roads.
