Mendoza invites speed before the Cacheuta road sends the bill back to town
The organizer confirms the second Gran Fondo Mendoza for Sunday, March 14, 2027 with chip timing and Elite, overall, and category classifications. The marketed 110-kilometer long route links central Mendoza with Lujan de Cuyo and Cacheuta; the organizer-linked route file measures 109.6 kilometers with 1,185 meters of climbing on paved roads. Final route, start point, start waves, aid locations, cutoff, weather notice, and rider communications override current details.
For the experienced rider training seven to eleven hours a week. This twelve-week build pairs race-specific speed and durability with deliberate recovery so fitness rises without carrying avoidable fatigue into March 14.

Hey, I'm Matti. I spent 11 years at TrainingPeaks, where they trusted me to teach coaches how to coach at TrainingPeaks University. I raced Amateur Elite with Rio Grande Cycling Team and podiumed my age group at Unbound 200 in 2026. I have a degree in biology and exercise physiology from St. Olaf. I'm also a middle-aged dad of three, so I know training doesn't happen in a vacuum. I help gravel riders get stupidly fast without becoming the person who brings a food scale to a party
