A hundred miles of rollers, four timed segments, and no finish-line clock to hide behind
Gran Fondo Florida returns to Dade City on Sunday, March 21, 2027. The organizer's provisional Gran route covers 101.08 miles with 3,409 feet of climbing on open Pasco County roads, using a wave start and four separated timed segments to decide the competition rather than total elapsed time.
For the experienced rider training seven to eleven hours a week, this twelve-week Rolling-Fast plan pairs repeatable timed-segment power with deliberate recovery, century durability, and enough freshness to race late rather than carrying accumulated fatigue into Dade City.

Hey, I'm Matti. I spent 11 years at TrainingPeaks, where they trusted me to teach coaches how to coach at TrainingPeaks University. I raced Amateur Elite with Rio Grande Cycling Team and podiumed my age group at Unbound 200 in 2026. I have a degree in biology and exercise physiology from St. Olaf. I'm also a middle-aged dad of three, so I know training doesn't happen in a vacuum. I help gravel riders get stupidly fast without becoming the person who brings a food scale to a party
