Plan Description

16-Week Advanced Road Plan: Full Block Periodization for Serious Road Riders

A full 16-week periodized road plan for experienced riders who can sustain 9-10 hours of training per week and need a complete build from threshold base to VO2 peak. Four blocks of three build weeks plus one recovery week each. The first two blocks develop threshold capacity across every format in the library. The third block transitions to VO2 work while maintaining volume. The fourth block adds a short anaerobic phase before tapering. Six sessions per week at peak, with Saturday long rides building to 3 hours. This plan does not ease you in — week 1 already includes threshold work. A power meter is required.
