Plan Description
12-Week Longevity Plan: Ride Well for the Next Ten Years
For cyclists over 50 who want to keep riding for decades without burning out or breaking down. Three sessions per week with longer recovery built in between them. The plan is almost entirely Zone 2, with a handful of VO2 sessions included because the research is clear that high-intensity work is essential for maintaining cardiac function and muscle mass as you age. Saturday rides build gradually to two hours, and every hard week is followed by a lighter one.
