Plan Description
Ce test PMA (Puissance Maximale aérobie) est important pour déterminer le FTP (Fonctionnel Threshold Power). Avant de démarrer le test PMA il faut un FTP de base. Deux options : 1/Vous appliquez votre FTP actuel si vous le connaissez. 2/Si vous ne le connaissez pas, appliquez un FTP virtuel (Poids du corps x 1.5 watts). L'objectif n'est pas de terminer le test mais de déterminer le palier de 1 mn que vous ne serez plus capable de finir. Le dernier palier complété validera en watts la PMA (Puissance Maximal Aérobie). Vous pourrez ensuite fixer votre FTP en fonction de votre niveau ou de votre âge : Coureur de bon niveau (FTP=80% PMA); +de 40 ans (75% PMA); +de 50 ans (70% PMA).
Important : ce test devra être fait ou renouveler de préférence le mardi après un jour de repos.
This test MAP is important for determining your FTP (Functional Threshold Power). Before starting the test MAP, a baseline FTP is required. Two options: 1/Use your current FTP if you know it. 2/If you do not know it, use a virtual FTP (Body weight x 1.5 watts). The goal is not to complete the test but to determine the 1-minute level that you will no longer be able to complete. This last completed level will validate your MAP (Maximal Aerobic Power) in watts. You can then set your FTP based on your level or your age : Skilled cyclist (FTP=80% MAP); over 40 years old (75% MAP); over 50 years old (70% MAP). Important : this test should preferably be done or repeated on a Tuesday after a day off.
