Plan Description

The 12-week Base plan is designed to build stamina and lay the groundwork for event-specific training.

Base training is the cornerstone of cycling performance. During this phase, the body undergoes key adaptations that form the platform for future gains in speed, power, and endurance.

The aerobic system supplies up to 85% of energy in most cycling events. By developing it thoroughly, you build the metabolic foundation needed to handle higher training loads and recover more effectively in later phases.

This phase lasts 12 weeks.
